Good God!!

I was about to go to bed but absolutely needed to share with you just how awesome God is.

It all began a few weeks ago around the time of my interview for Abu Dhabi. I went to church to get some extra prayer, cause every bit counts.
I went to one of the pastors to pray about my interview and that I would get the job. Instead of praying about the interview, the pastor began praying about some exams that I would be taking for my teaching qualifications and that God would give me the strength and wisdom to pass these exams.
In my head I was like "Dude what are you talking about, that's so not want I came to you about. I'm already a qualified teacher, I need this new job."
Of course I couldn't interrupt him because that would have been rude so I let him finish, all the while just super confused. I put it out of my head and moved on.

Flash forward to this week. I was contemplating opting out of taking two exams to get my initial teaching license. I figured why spend the money to take them since I'll be gone for the next 2 years and wouldn't be needing the certification. A friend convinced me that the smart thing to do was to register and take them because all the info will be fresh in my head. So I did.

So what do these stories have to do with each other?
Well, I'm praying last night and I was asking God to help me with these upcoming exams when suddenly it hit me that the prayer the pastor had prayed wasn't so crazy after all. He prayed for these exams that I need for my qualifications.
OMG! God is crazy awesome. I didn't even know I'd be taking these exams, yet he put it in the pastor's head to pray for me. He didn't need to pray about the job since I'd already gotten it. There were other things on the plate that needed HIS attention.

Everyday God does something else that just floors me. I know I'm blessed and here is just another testimony on a long list that proves that if you trust in God and believe, he's got your back big time.
I leave you with these words:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
